Reset Email Password or Password Not Working

Initial passwords are only valid for 90 days. If you have not logged into the email system within that first 90 days your only option is to reset your password.

Please use the following process to reset your password, which can send you an email containing your password and login instructions. Please note if you use the text option it will only send you the password. If you need both the passsword and instructions, you will need to use the email notification option.

  1. Log into eServices -> Click on your name at the top right side of the page and take note of the following information
  • CAPID (used to log into eServices)
  • Rank (Listed in the General Info & Preferences section)
  • Last Name (Listed in the General Info & Preferences section)
  • Date Joined CAP (Listed in the General Info & Preferences section)
  • City (Listed in the Addresses section – Left hand side)

Once you have logged into and captured the information above.

  1. Navigate to the following sites to reset your password:

*** YOU DO NOT NEED TO LOGIN FOR THE PASSWORD RESET TOOL ***

  1. Select Member –> Password Reset –> Follow the Instructions

If you change your password and continue to have issues, please create a support ticket at

Be sure to select one of the Group Email Issues Categories:

California:
